Abstract:The concepts and laws of physics is an important content in senior Physics teaching. According to the constructivist theory, students learn the concepts and laws through two sorts of mechanisms:assimilation and accommodation. However, during the process of physics learning, students are easy to confuse the concepts and laws due to their lack of cognition, misconception of the concepts and laws and the misunderstanding about the essences and laws. However, under the requirements of the new curriculum, many educators are actively involved in the inquiry teaching, situational teaching and cooperative teaching, but there are fewer studies on the confusable concepts and laws. Some of them just focus on theory. The study cites the cognitive development theory of Piaget, constructivism and concept teaching and the principles of physics concept teaching to try to find out the psychological reasons of the confusable conceptions and analyze the individual differences. It links educational theory with practice using classification and hierarchical teaching and the case analysis of confusable concepts in terms of knowledge,abilities,methods,emotions and values in order to help students change their learning patterns and form scientific learning methods so that they can understand and apply the conceptions and laws exactly. The novel of this paper is that it tries to find out the reason for students’confusion, using questionnaire method and interview method. It also collects and analyzes the easy confusable conceptions and laws of physics teaching, focusing on experimental inquiry process and error analysis, and finally back to the practice to improve teachers’ classroom conception teaching, It can also provide the references for teaching practice of confusable conceptions and laws in senior high physics.
