On The Coaching Style And The Type Of Basketball Coaches

With the development of modern basketball sport and the impotent of the knowledge about the law of sports training, people have put forward higher requirement to the abilities of basketball coaches, especially of the youth coaches. As one of the main bodies of athlete training, coaches are always the focus that people pay attention to. Their teaching contents are complicated and diversified. They have to have various teaching methods and lively teaching styles, which show vividly savoir characteristics.The essay regards the teaching style as the studied object, the learners who attended the Chinese Basketball Coaches Senior Training Class, which was holed by the State Basketball Management Center from2009to2011, as the subjects for investigation. The research theme of the essay is the effect factors in teaching style process and the different teaching style of coaches. The essay uses document literature, questionnaire survey, interview, mathematical statistics and logical analysis to analyze the theme based on previous research achievements. It has certain reference value to improve the overall quality of basketball coaches. My research achievements can be listed as follows:1) Character differences between basketball players influence players how to carry out the tactics guiding thought that basketball plays have in the math, which is an objective response when coaches come to understand the objective sports laws as well as the performance of their teaching style.2) The development of teaching style is based on the knowledge of objective sports laws and personalities in the training course; training behavior represents the teaching style of coaches. Training methods and training behavior influence strain and remold each other so that they have an effect on the development and improvement of teaching style. Meanwhile, teaching styles manifest ate teaching methods. There is an unity between them.3) Sports experience is the practical experience that players have gained. And it is the basis of coaches’teaching style. Hxcellenl basketball style coaches should have their own ideas of philosophy about excellent basketball, which plays a key point in teaching experience in different levels. It is the cornerstone of becoming an excellent basketball coach.4) Promoting the technical talents contents and raising the scientific research levels of their teaching style.5) Democratic-cooperative teaching style is belter than other two teaching style in management, training, competing, communicating and simulating behaviors. Its people oriented. And it focuses on democracy. It arouses players’enthusiasm, initiative and creative ability, which is adapt to the goal of players first, victory second. This is the optimum teaching style of coaches as well as offers the practical basis to teaching styles of coaches themselves.
