Because of relatively slowly updating in chemistry textbooks, and less chemical knowledge involved in the topicality, combined with the lack of professional knowledge upgrading of teachers and teaching hours together with many other factors, the teaching and learning of the topicality chemical knowledge has not gotten sufficient attention. In the teaching process of high school chemistry, teachers should not only combine the latest scientific and technological achievements of chemistry and its applications with the new curriculum teaching philosophy of high school, but apply the topicality complying with students as teaching situation or the main line of teaching into the classroom teaching. All that would help students understand the close contact of the chemistry with human life, appreciate the close relationship of the chemistry with scientific and technological progress and social development, aiming at stimulating students’ attention to chemistry-related social problems faced by human.The inquiry and learning of problem-driven topicality chemical knowledge, that means in the teaching process, using the problem throughout the whole process of teaching, the students could take the initiative to obtain the corresponding chemical concepts, chemical principles and the newest application in the inquiry process. Finally, it will help students develop the ability of question and answer the question.ChemMatters published by the American Chemical Society (ACS), is a magazine for high school chemistry education. The contents of each of the themes are all the topicality chemical problems or events occurring around the people, which can fully reflect the significant effect of chemistry on human life, social development, and science and technology. In addition, the each period ChemMatters magazine has a simultaneous publication of the corresponding Teacher’s guide, which covers the background information concerning related topics, student activities, classroom organization and student problems.It can not only help teachers build the contextual and knowledge transition of chemistry with the corresponding theme, but also can guide teachers get complete and rich teaching resources through in-depth mining. More importantly, the layout and issues design of problem module in ChemMatters "Teacher’s guide" are particularly suitable for exploring and learning in the topicality chemical knowledge of high school chemistry, and could be excellent teaching resources as topicality knowledge of chemistry teaching activities. The dissertation based on the development and use of ChemMatters Magazine and "Teacher’s Guide", through the analysis of thematic content of "Teacher’s Guide" related to green chemistry, selects one of three parts:" Plastic Green"," Green Gasoline:Fuel from Plants" and "Building a Better Bleach:A Green Chemistry Challenge" as the development of teaching resources. Divide corresponding problem into leading issues, intellectual issues and scalability issues and guide them with related issues,which can not only help students quickly understand the key elements of the article in the learning process, but also help teachers use or profit from design methods of the problems and teaching activities. Let students learn chemistry concepts, principles and extracurricular learning projects under the guide of problems, this problem-driven learning mode can not only help enrich the learning emotion of students, improve their ability of asking questions, and analyzing problems, but also can benefit the development and innovation of knowledge. In order for the links become more and more closely between the theory of the development teaching resources and practice, the writer introduced the development teaching resources into the teaching content of green chemistry in high school, and designed the teaching,and put the topicality chemical knowledge into the class as a teaching resource. It is riched the teachers’ teaching content and improved students’ inquiry learning ability gradually about chemical knowledge.
