On The Inheritance And Development Of Chinese Traditional Ports In Modem Time

Recently, we have done some researches into the ancient cuju of our country-China. By adopting themethods of literature, comparative study, interview and case study,we started with the basic reality of thedevelopment of ancient cuju under the guiding principle of taking history as a mirror, and analyzed thedevelopment of cuju at various stages in the foundation of the social politics, economy, and culture. We alsoanalyzed the reasons for the rise and fall of the development of cuju, according to which we put forward theexisting problems in the development of national sports in China and the direction of future development. Thefollowing are main research conclusions:1. According to cuju’s development scale, influence, the participants and the differences in itsconnotation, form and techniques, the development of cuju can be divided into three stages, namely theformation stage, peak stage and decline stage.2. The rise and fall of ancient Chinese cuju was not immediate results caused by internal and externalenvironment changes of cuju in a dynasty or a period, it was a long-term process of accumulation andresulted from many factors from the internal and external environment for a long time. The prosperity of thedevelopment of cuju at one time was greatly influenced by political factors at the time, and depended on thesocial external environment formed by the ruling class, the Confucian culture, and economic factors, but theinternal factors of cuju such as the intrinsic form,technology, the connotation were to determine thefundamental of the development and spread of cuju.3. The ancient Chinese rulers’ attitude towards cuju greatly influenced not only the development of cujuin the society at that time but also the social hierarchy of the participants in cuju and the social status of thecuju artists. The effect of economic factors on the development of cuju is mainly embodied in the economicprosperity and the rises in the cuju artist’s income levels, which will both promote the development of cuju;Confucian culture and its influence on the development of the cuju is mainly embodied in the changes of theforms of cuju, contents, technology and physiological load of exercise and intensity, which is obviouslycharacterized by people’s attitudes toward cuju including the positive participation, yearning for participation,objection to participation and even disdain for participation.4. China has varieties of national traditional sports events full of national and regional characters and the sports have rich and colorful forms and contents. But in the modern development of national traditionalsports, our country has many deficiencies, including the rough connotation, chaos, the lagging theoreticalresearch; single crowd of participants and lack of motivation of participation. What’s more, the purpose ofactivity is not clear and short of form of interest and standardization. In addition, the technical movements aremonotonous and the technical research is lagging, etc.5. The enlightenment of the rise and fall of cuju about the modern development of the national traditionalsports in our country is that the modern development of the national traditional sports in China needs to focuson substantial improvements in the national traditional sports and rich connotation, and pay attention to thedevelopment of the forms of activities based on the characteristics of the origins of history and culture, makingit more interesting and more scientific and more standardized and meet modern people’s demands for sportsculture. Scientific researches should focus on the techniques of the national traditional sports, making thetechniques of the national traditional sports more scientific, healthier and more positive to represent thecontent and its culture connotation; The government should transfer the perspective on the narrowness ofsports service for the economy, politics and utilitarianism, increase the consciousness of subjective choice ofnational traditional sports and set some related policies to support the development of the national traditionalsports and then completes the sports public services to develop the traditional folk sports organizations.
