The Research About Present Situation And Problems Of Physical Education Combined In Ningbo

With the gradual establishment of the socialist market economic system, and the continuousdevelopment of the economy and the society, people’s value orientation has changed a lot. Thereexist a great number of problems about the previous training mode centering on the individualdevelopment of sports skills. Examples are as follows: focusing on winning gold medals results inneglecting the all-round development of athletes; their illiteracy makes it difficult to find a good job;and it’s more and more difficult for the amateur sports school to recruit students. Under suchcircumstances,“the combination of sports and education”, a new mode for cultivating reservesports talents, emerges as the times require. It changes the old training mode in China’s athleticsports and strategically reforms the systems both in China’s athletic sports and education.With the methods of document-data and logic analysis, this thesis does some researches intothe four operational modes of “sports and education combined in Ningbo” and analyzes the presentsituation of “sports and education combined in Ningbo”. This training mode plays an active role inpromoting the sustained development of athletic sports, in improving the education for all-rounddevelopment, and in boosting the nationwide fitness program. However, during the empiricalanalysis of the sports and education combined in Ningbo Sports School, Badminton and Tennis, itis obvious that there are some problems in this training mode. Firstly, there are some conflictsbetween learning and training; secondly, the resource of the teaching staff is not that rich; thirdly,the combination of sports and education is insufficient; fourthly, there is a lack of sound regulations.All these problems result from several phenomena: firstly, the government fails to lay greatemphasis on this training mode, which makes it lack the support from policies and guarantee offunds; secondly, the old-fashioned values in parents’ mind hinder the development of the youth;most importantly, people lack the courage to start a reform and the innovation to make abreakthrough, which restricts the further development of the combination of sports and education.Considering the above-mentioned analyses, there are three ways to solve the problems in the sportsand education combined in Ningbo. First of all, there should be more funds from the government; secondly, the executor of this training mode should reinforce the administration and perfect theinstitution; last but not least, the public should learn to further understand the connotation of“sports and education combined”.
