Belief is the human gut feelings, also be persistent and constant pursuit of spirit, is a special way to encourage people to the understanding of the world. As a kind of social consciousness and social psychology, belief in maintaining national unity and the stability of the country, where the root is the ethnic and national cohesion and centripetal force. So for the belief education has become a reality the need of the development of our country. There are many beliefs, according to the degree of rationality can be divided into superstition, religious belief, rational belief and Marx’s belief. Students as a force for social economic development of our country, for the life of social economic culture of our country plays a role in promoting, and the social and economic life has been influenced the contemporary college students. How to make the college students to set up scientific Marxist belief has become a national development an important problem on the road.At present our country is in the period of social transformation, social and economic happened to turn the world upside down change, in this social background, the traditional belief education already could not adapt the modern life dramatically changed in content and form, all sorts of belief about the phenomenon and derive a series of questions to become the ideological problems of contemporary college students. Therefore, to study and to belief education, to enhance the effectiveness of the belief education, building a harmonious socialist society, to guide the whole society to establish a scientific and rational belief, comprehensively enhance China’s cultural soft power, promote the popularization of Marx, has the important meaning to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.In this paper, according to the connotation, belief and belief education content, features and functions of redefinition of belief education, existing problems in the process are analyzed, and to assist in the form of questionnaire survey to find the inner cause, research methods for the belief education in, eventually reached the countermeasure about solving problems, belief education from society, family and individual aspects to enhance the overall effectiveness of belief education.
