Th Grey Incidence Analysis Of Technical Index Between Chinese Women Basketball Team And The World Top4from The28th To30th Olympic Games

Basketball has become a worldwide popular movement after100yearsdevelopment. The Olympic Game, as one of the highest level of world rankcompetition, is one of the most important ways to test all countries general level ofbasketball games. However, the previous Olympic Games Results showed that thestate of Chinese Women Basketball Team is still unstable. What’s more worse, thereis a big gap between the general level of Chinese Women Basketball Team and theworld high-level Basketball Team.This problem as how to shorten the gap as quicklyas possible is crying out for immediate solutions.Based on the technical indexes analysis of the Chinese Women Basketball teamand the world top-four team in the Olympic games in recent three years, which is alsothe research object of this thesis, it analyses gray incidence of technical indexesthrough many methods like literature review, mathematical statistics, videoobservation, comparison analytic method, and gray incidence analysis. With thesemethods to find out the gap between the Chinese Basketball Team and the WorldTop-four, in order to provide a reference for improving the level of Chinese Women’sBasketball Team.The results showed that (1) The main factors that affect the outcome of the28th Olympic Games competition of Chinese Women Basketball Team are: two-piontshot in, defensive rebounds, two-point-field goal percentage, two-point shot, turnovers,block shot, offensive rebounds and assists; while the main factors that affect theWorld Top-four Women Basketball Team are: fouls, two-piont shot in, two-pointpercentage, block shot, offensive rebounds, free-throw percentage, two-point shot,defensive rebounds and turnovers. Compared to the World Top-four, the resultsshowed that Chinese Women Basketball Team’s hit number of shot is less and thesuccess rate of shot was lower than the Top-four; the faults were more and the ablitilyof assists was worse than the Top-four; the total number of rebounds wasless,especially the ablitily of offensive rebounds.(2) The main factors that affect theoutcome of the29th Olympic Games competition of Chinese Women BasketballTeam are: two-point percentage, two-point shot in, free-throw percentage, three-pointshot in, assists, free-throw shot in, two-point shot, invaded, free-throw in, defensiverebounds, fouls and steals; while the main factors that affect the World Top-four Women Basketball Team are: assists, two-piont shot in, two-point shot, defensiverebounds, two-point-field goal percentage, steals and free-throw percentage. Theresult showed that Chinese Women Basketball Team has strengthened their breakingablity, the field goal percentage of shot has gone up;team work was better,the faultscontrolling was better; the defensive rebounds was better, but the offensive reboundsneed to be improved.(3) The main factors that affect the outcome of the30thOlympic Games competition of Chinese Women Basketball Team are: offensiverebounds, invaded, defensive rebounds, assists, free-throw percentage, two-point shot,two-piont shot in, free-throw in and steals; while the main factors that affect theWorld Top-four Women Basketball Teams are: two-point shot, two-piont shot in,steals, assists, two-point-field goal percentage, defensive rebounds, free-throwpercentage. The result showed that Chinese Women’s Basketball Team was fewer atnumbers of goal,and the field goal percentage also need to be improved; team workwas better, but still need to control the faults; and poorer ability in aspects ofoffensive rebounds, block shot and steals.(4)Compared to the indexes of recent threeyears’s Olympic games, Chinese Women Basketball Team was fewer at numbers ofgoal, the field goal percentage was not high while free-throw percentage was better,and number of free-throw in was less; defensive rebounds was better while offensiverebounds was worse; all these led to a big gap with European and American teamswhose fault controling ability was better, the ability of assists was better, the wholeoffensive tactics were much more effective; the block shot and steals was less,butturnovers was a bit higher, and the defensive quality need to be improved.
