A Study On National Education Conference In1928

In May1928,the national education conference presided over by Cai Yuan-pei University Courtyard. The conference has a profound background:at this time the two sides of C.P.C.and K.M.T.have from cooperation to confrontation, and Japan trying to split China made the "Ji Nan Massacre". There are two reasons for this education conference mainly:firstly, there are many unhealthy in education is the need to abolish; secondly, it is to get rid of the communist party and communist influence in the field of education. In order to conference goes well, the University Courtyard organized preparatory committee and proposal preparation committee, and the preparatory meeting held16times, discuss issues related to assembly. The conference attendees include provinces and special city representatives, various agencies representatives, selecting experts, of course attendees of the University Courtyard, the University Committee nonvoting members, and the University Committee present members, a total of six kinds. According to author statistics suggest that personnel81people present, the members mostly had study abroad experience and engaged in education administration work, some members engaged in education teaching work or have education professional learning experience. The study or working experience of the members will have a direct influence on the education conference. The conference divided into twelve groups, discussed more than four hundred pieces, set up110cases. Based on combing the110cases,the author thinks that the conference reflected the spirits of focusing on social needs, pursuing the equality, paying attention to practice, good at reference, and universal concern. Political reasons or war environment makes the conference plan can’t get to practice, but the great spirit of cases worth later generations to learn and remember.
