A Research On Implicit Work Value Of College Students

Work value is the principal criteria when people choose and evaluate their work, Numerous research indicate that work value is closely related to the behaviour and psychological in careers choosing and the employment of the graduate. With Growing Attention towards employment of college students, more and more researcher believe the study of graduate’s employment should start with graduate’s Work Value.Scholars research work value in different perspectives, and accumulate fruitful results.This study review and analyze the status of work values researches by scholars, find and research the blank field on the basis of previous research.The paper mainly research the implicit work value of college students, and adopt Rokeach’s work value Division method to research implicit intentional work value and instrumental work value of college student.The experiments use a series research method of implicit cognitive to prove the existence of implicit work value and discuss its independence, furthermore, discuss the characteristic of college students work value and its relation with explicit work value.Finally, Experiments get the following conclusions:1.There is significant difference between the contribution of consciousness and the contribution unconsciousness on work value. The implicit work value being and the explicit work value and the implicit work value is independent.2.The implicit work value is composed of intentional work value and instrumental work value.College students have the positive attitude toward the intentional work value and instrumental work value. And the attitude toward the intentional work value is stronger than the attitude toward the instrumental work value.3.The more educated students are the lower degree of the work value implicit recognition except intentional work value.4.On the whole,there is no relation between explicit work value and implicit work value but explicit instrumental work value is weekly related to implicit instrumental work value. And the explicit work value and the implicit work value go different in the same demographic variable.5.There is no moderation effect of attitude strength between explicit work value and implicit work value.
