Investigations Of The Pressure Of College Students From The View Of Ideological And Political Education

With the speeding up and increasingly fierce competition of modern society, people are under increasingly more pressure, and the pressure caused by anxiety and panic affects all levels of our society. Contemporary college students, an important part of social groups, are also inevitably affected. Because of the physical and mental development of college students is not fully mature, the pressure such as studying life, choosing a career, employment emotion, economics and etc. gradually enhance, leading to that the thought conditions are not stable and the psychological problems are increasingly prominent. In October of2004, the opinions of the central committee of the communist party of China and the state council on "further strengthening and improving ideological and political education of college students’ pointed out that:try to expand the effective ways of ideological and political education, ideological and political education must be combined with solving practical problems, and focus on college students’ mental health education. The stable state of thoughts and the problems of mental health of college students, especially the pressure problem, affect college students’ individual growth and success, affect the overall level of higher education,and also influence the process of building a harmonious society in our country. Therefore, exploring the pressure problems deeply and seeking effective measures of stress management of college students has become the unshirkable responsibility and important research subject for ideological and political education workers.The pressure problem of college students is a common research of psychology and ideological and political education. This problem has been a hot topic in the field of psychology, and also has gained abundant research results. But the research on this problem in the perspective of ideological and political education is far away enough. This paper, standing in the perspective of ideological and political education, referring to psychology, pedagogy, sociology and other related disciplines theories, using reference and document method, interview method, empirical research and theoretical research combined method, combining the working practice, systematically analyzed the status quo of college students’pressure and deeply studied the subjective and objective factors influencing college students’pressure problems, and then worked out the effective ways about stress managements.The Paper is divided into three parts:The first part systematically introduced the basic concepts of pressure and pressure source, the classification of pressure sources and the dual effects of college students’ pressure;the second part adopted the psychological stress scale table of Chinese college student established by the research group of the ministry of education "the evaluation system of college students’ mental health in China",discussed the present situation of college students’ pressure, and made an attribution analysis;the third part clarified the connotation of college students’ stress management in the perspective of ideological and political education and put forward the effective measures about college students’ stress managements:broaden the channel of stress management and construct a good educational environment, including the construction and utilization of a social support system introspection and improvement of parents teaching ways, innovation and following up of college counseling mode, and the development and training of college students’ pressure relief ability; innovate stress management thoughts and expand stress management contents, including the focus on personality cultivation, good personality quality shaping, strengthening basic education and realizing the all-round development of students, enhancing education management team, building education training system, innovating education working carrier and making full use of new media forms.
