Determination And Analysis Of Mortality Levels Of Chinese Ethnic Minorities

China is a big multi-ethnic country, its population problem is one of most important problems that affect and limit the social development. Population death research is an important topic of the population study. Population death level can reflect the health level of population, measure the degree of social development. For china, minority population health level is a great guarantee of the fast development of our economy, social harmony and stability. As national career booming over the past two "five years", minority population health level has been improved, however, there still are big differences between various minorities. In china from the perspective of all ethnic groups, the correlation analysis of the minority population death level is relatively less. This article is based on general census data in2010and in2000, determine and analysis the death levels all the minorities in our country. It provides powerful data support for the establishment of policy system.This article as a whole can be divided into three parts, Part1we use the method of descriptive statistics to analysis the population and their structures of all ethnic groups, and provide basic data for analysis of population death level; Part2we use the original sixth and the fifth census data, based on types and structures of the data, to compile the current life tables of all the minority nationalities in2010and2000by referring to the classic methods of making the life table, numerical method and statistical method, and making use of mathematical software matlab and maple. On this basis, the extraction of infant mortality, average life expectancy from the life tables, can measure the ethnic minority population death level and its devel opment and change of the decade. I n thi rd part, based on the data from the I if e table we analyzed the relationship between born infant mortality changes and the changes in the average life expectancy. We chose four ethnic minorities in southwest Yunnan whose reduce in infant mortality were most pronounced, and then we make a comprehensive analysis of the average infant mortality, life expectancy rise in economic and social factors.In the end, we find there is a big improvement of the health level of ethnic minority over the ten years, and gaps between all populations exist also. All minority death level changes are related to their owe levels of economic development. Although the national health development is very fast, frontier and remote rural minority health level remains to be improved.
