| With the coming of the information age, the geography which studies the surface of the earth is also in profound change. The objects and questions that geography studies on are developing towards macrography and complex. Only concerns on the mastery of knowledge and ignore cultivation of the ability in teaching geography in senior middle school has been unable to adapt to the current social demand for talent. Cultivate students’ logical thinking ability, especially the inductive and deductive ability is the need of senior middle school geography curriculum standard, and is also a way to cultivate students’ ability to analyze and solve geography problems and learning how to learn geography. In this paper, based on the logic theory, the author expounds the concept and importance of inductive and deductive ability, through unscrambling the senior middle school geography curriculum standard, sorting out the specific demands of requirements of the inductive and deductive ability in the curriculum standards, and then based on the demand of curriculum standard, using two classes in the senior middle school’s geography textbooks that were published by people’s education publishing house as an example, evaluating if it has reach the demand of cultivating the ability of induction and deduction, putting forward some cases aiming at solving the shortcomings of the existed, finally by evaluating the teaching case to verify its effectiveness and provide them to education workers for reference. |
