From Herbart’s "Three-center theory" to Dewey’s, the status of children has been obviously improved. Children literature gets more and more attention. Children literature can be divided into three aspects:infant literature, children literature and teen-age literature. Mr. Zhou Zuoren, the famous scholar who held up half of country for children literature, defined children literature as "literature of elementary school". Thus, outstanding works of children literature will be the best education material for teaching kids in elementary school age. It is able to teach children in different age according to their characteristics, so that children can get nourishment for mind during growing up.However, education of children literature and elementary school language appears a phenomenon that one integrity with both sides. With gradually children literary, but elementary school language teaching materials cannot play its functional value in teaching practice. I think about following reasons:at present, setting Children Literature Major in Primary Education Major in Formal University is still not popular. Teaching in Children Literature Major still remains on theory, which is short of practicing classes. Formal Universities take Children literature Introduction, Children Literature Courses and so on as teaching materials. Editors of these books are most short of teaching practice or writing skills, writing of teaching materials mainly introduce concepts, characteristics, type of literature, developing history, works selection and so forth, lack of content of children literature education, like teaching material redact, teaching implementation, curriculum provision; in the view of teaching material, be selected children literatures are more translated from other countries and few from local, more about nation and few about children.How better play function and value of children literature in elementary language teaching practicing is a question which possesses theoretical and practicing significance. In order to realize its function and value, first of all, we must briefly analyze the children literature of elementary school language and teaching methods; second, know about existed children teaching questions in elementary school language; finally, with the detailed lesson example to expound in detail, so that offer some referable ideas for vast teachers who devote themselves to education career in children education practicing.
