College Students’ Ideological And Political Education Under The Shock Of Microblog Culture

Microblog is a fast growing and promising emerging communication platform. Ideological and political education workers are the defenders of ideological area, on one hand, they make a serious study in the impact of microblog on college students, explore the functions of microblog for ideological and political education work, and actively apply the microblog to the ideological and political education; on the other hand, these education workers positively make use of the microblog platform to complement and strengthen the defects and deficiencies of college students’ ideological and political education when it turns to network, constantly expand microblog to the ideological and political education work areas for college students. At the same time, the ideological and political education workers in colleges are increasing influence of college ideological education in order to make college students’ideological and political education more comprehensive, efficient, and reflect the positive guiding role of the ideological and political education of college students.On one hand, this article summarizes the definition of the subculture of microblog and its relationship with ideology and politics. On the other hand, it sums up the current situation of ideological and political education of college students of micro blog culture by surveying the microblog usage among college students through questionnaires, and analyzes the major challenges of ideological and political education of Chinese college students where microblog works as a carrier. Finally, according to the corresponding problems and challenges, this article proposes countermeasures in two ways which ideological and political education should take when it meets the subculture of microblog.
