In recent years, as a result of college expansion, the unemployment problem of college graduates is becoming more and more serious. Facing the tight employment situation, many college students choose to enter graduate school to escape from working pressure.The motivations of local agricultural college students to enter graduate schools are varied, but basically as followings:to pursuit better career prospects; to achieve higher education background; to meet the parents’ expectations; to enter famous universities; and to follow the trend blindly. Besides, the motivation is influenced by the major, gender,source of the students and so on. It has profound social background to the phenomenon.
