| The preschool teachers’ professional development is the important factor of guaranteeingthe quality of preschool education. As a inevitable stage of teacher’s career, entry phase is alsothe critical period of the teachers’ professional development. For the novice teachers, relevantexperience they gained in the entry phase will have a direct impact on their professional valueorientation and professional attitude in the future. In this period, vocational adjustment is notonly the biggest problem the novice teachers are facing, but also the key to promote their ownprofessional development.For the purpose of understanding the current situation about preschool novice teachers’vocational adjustment and relevant influencing factors,30preschool novice teachers fromfive kindergartens in Changchun are observed and interviewed as the research objects. Basedon the results of the research, the researcher offers different countermeasures to differentgroups to not only help the preschool novice teachers adjust the vocation, but also promotetheir professional development.This research mainly consists of four parts:Part I: The problem put forward. On account of preschool teachers’ professionaldevelopment, the hot issue in preschool education field and the social problem of preschoolteachers’ strong liquidity included, the research addresses the importance and necessity ofpreschool novice teachers’ vocational adjustment both from the theoretical value andpractical significance. On the basis of collecting, analyzing and summarizing the relevantliteratures from the Chinese Text and Google Scholar Search, the study connected the meansof interview and observation to understand the current situation of preschool novice teachers’vocational adjustment.Part II: Current situation of the preschool novice teachers’ vocational adjustment. Afterordering and analyzing the data, researcher presents the current situation of the vocationaladjustment of30preschool novice teachers who are from five kindergartens in Changchun.The vocational adjustment consists of three dimensions, including vocational skillsadjustment, vocational relationship adjustment and vocational mental adjustment.Part III: Problems and influencing factors of the kindergarten novice teachers’ vocationaladjustment. Researcher not only sum up the problems of the novice teachers during vocationaladjustment, but also analyze this part from subjective factors, like vocational vision, choosingprofession motive and individuality; and objective factors, like traditional view, social statusand treatment of preschool teachers, the influence of family members and friends andkindergarten management.Part IV: Countermeasures to promote the kindergarten novice teachers’ vocationaladjustment. Based upon the result, researcher gives all the kindergartens, preschool teachersand the government some suggestions. For the preschool teachers, they should give full playto their main part effect. For the kindergartens, they should provide effective support. For the government, it had better offer advantageous support and security at policy and institutionallevel. |
