Researches Of Background Materials Of Mathematical Problems

Mathematical problems are not like water without a source, or a tree without roots. That’s because the process of proposition of mathematical problems must choose and deal with background materials. An acknowledgement of the truth also means getting to the bottom when researching mathematical problems. In other words, the study of background materials of mathematical problems is not only a must of proposition but also an effective means to improve teachers’ professional levels. Therefore, it is necessary and valuable to undertake systematic, comprehensive and concrete research on background materials of mathematical problems.This paper mainly adopts literature research and case analysis to study background materials of mathematical problems. Firstly, it defines the concept of background materials of mathematical problems. Secondly, it explores the theoretical basis of background materials, which concludes that background materials can develop into the psychological basis of mathematical problems. It also puts forward the basic selection and processing principles of background materials. Thirdly, in this paper, background materials of mathematical problems are classified according to different ways of presenting, the source, the amount of contained information and the similarity of materials. Finally, in the cases analysis, this paper also shows the conventional methods of dealing with background materials and some problems that should be paid attention to.
