With the development of science and information technology, the worldinternationalization, according to this trend and change, multiculturaleducation is getting more and more important. Multicultural education isstarted from the immigrant countries such as USA and Canada. The concern ofthe multicultural education is growing due to its increasing importanceamong the people.Therefore, this study is about how to understand the recentmulticultural education in Korea and China. Since, these two countries havea lot of common elements about historical and geological relationship, thisresearch will lead to a greater compare and contrast ideas of multiculturalmusic education. Specifically, how to find the best method to teach andtrain multicultural music education in Korea and China.Multicultural music education was recognized that it is necessary aboveall, to understand the nature of the music, which transcends all times andcultures, also to build a comprehensive musicianship. Through multiculturalmusic education, we can expand our field of vision and openness to othercultures, so that we can extend our own cultural identity.In this study, we will begin to look at the concept of multiculturaleducation and the need for it. Korea and China was topic in the previousresearch related to multicultural music education.. Korea and China wastopic in the previous research related to multicultural music education.Therefore, this study research looked to Korea and China s current musicand music curriculum and textbooks in the elements of multicultural musiceducation. The researchers set up two topics that can be linked to themusic of China and Korea; a new set for the Development of Teaching and aLearning Plan.This study is divided into five parts.Chapter I: Multicultural Music EducationThis chapter mainly discussed about the definition and necessity ofmulticultural music education, this chapter studied about the previousresearch between Korean and Chinese multicultural music-education.Chapter II: Multicultural Music Education In KoreaThis chapter mainly describes the situation of Korean multiculturalmusic education through analyzing the Korean s music curriculum standards(2007edition) and primary music textbooks.Chapter III: Multicultural Music Education In ChinaThis chapter mainly describes the situation of Chinese multicultural music education through analyzing the Chinese music curriculum standards(2011edition) and primary music textbooks.Chapter I V: Comparative Analysis of Multicultural Music EducationBetween Korea and ChinaThis chapter contains a comparative analysis of multicultural musiceducation in China and Korea. Based on the result of chapter two and three,it shows similarities and differences between Korea and China smulticultural music education.Chapter V: The Future Multicultural Music Education s Teaching Plan ForKorea and ChinaThis chapter was intended to address the Chinese and Korean musiceducation subject, and designed a new set of teaching process plans.
