| Using mathematical knowledge and mathematical way of thinking to solve real life problems and find problems is one of the new mathematics curriculum objectives. Mathematics concept is the basic structural elements of mathematics knowledge. Mathematics concept learning is the basic link of mathematics learning. Therefore, study on application of mathematic concepts is of great significance for Mathematic Teaching.Research in applied mathematic concept has been fruitful. However, most of then focus on theoretical analysis, lacks empirical research. They also can’t grasp the essence of mathematic concept application and evaluates the capacity of mathematic concept application. The concept of function which runs through the middle school mathematic is the basis of advanced mathematic, also is one of the most difficult mathematic concept reflected by students, Therefore this paper selects function concept as an example and analyses the process of using it, redefines function concept application ability of junior middle school students and divides the level of this ability. At the same time, I chose "CPFS structure", the cognitive structure which is specific to mathematic, combines the mathematic concept’s peculiarity of abstractness, logicality and integrity, to explore the correlation between individual function concept application level and the CPFS structure.In this paper, I give a in-depth analysis about the current situation of the function concept application level and CPFS structure based on function concept by using the method of questionnaire and the tool SPSS17.0.The study found:①At the present, the overall situation of junior middle school students’CPFS’structure about function concept is much more optimistic, most of them are in middle level. Individual CPFS structure presents obvious progress. Along with the grade improving and has significant correlation with academic performance of function concept;②However, the overall situation of the application level of function concept is not satisfactory,nearly half of the students are in the learning level of application which is the low level of application. As the same with individual CPFS structure, students’ application level of function concept also presents obvious progress. Along with the grade improving and has significant correlation with academic performance of function concept.③At last, by the analysis of variance,we find the application level of function concept and the condition of individual building more fine, corresponding to the application level of function concepts of knowledge is higher. On the contrary, individual function concept application level is higher, the CPFS structure established by individual about function concept is better. |
