Abstract/Summary:
Recently, mass media such as news, papers and so on, reported student violencefrequently, which exposed the lack of humanities education in high school at present.The reasons lie in many aspects. The differentiation in humanistic education andscience education result in the tendency of technology polarism and pragmatism in theprocess of carrying out teaching aims and teaching procedures. The acceleration andpopularization of higher education is not moderate, which values the quantity ratherthan the quality. The political tendency in the traditional moral education leads to themisunderstanding in humanistic education and so on.Students lack humanistic knowledge, humanistic spirits, creativity, imaginationand understanding. The psychological quality and mental health level are not high.The aesthetic knowledge, aesthetic taste and aesthetic ability are poor. What’s worse,they have not lofty ideals and aspirations. The concept of morality, patriotism andcollectvism is indifferent. All of these will affect students’ healthy development ofpersonality, which eventualy cause their lifetime’s pity. The real reason for theproblem is not the lack of graduates’ professional skills, but the lack of graduates’basic humanistic knowledge and accomplishment. Therefore, from the point ofstudents’ growth and development, from the expectations from society to secondaryvocational education, from the development of secondary vocational schoolsthemseves, to strenghthen the humanistic education is very necessary and urgent.According to the policy, the secondary vocational Chinese added humanisticeducation to the teaching procedures. Compared with the traditional Chinese studyway, it has many different features. It makes a breakthrough in the center of class,textbooks and teachers. And it emphasizes the subjects put forward from the study andsociety, which try its best to center on students and fully refelct the abundance ofChinese study, the varieties of study approaches, the pratice of study process, and thecomprehensive and diversities of study goals.It is an important platform on thehumanistic education and an impotant approach to helping students form correctvalues and positive attidudes towards life, where we can develop a noble moral charater and healthy aesthetic taste.This essay starts with a case study, trying to develop students’ good humanityaccomplishment in Chinese classes, which let students realize deeply they can notonly learn much Chinese knowledge aimed at severing the professional classes, butteachers combine the theories of humanistic education with Chinese classes, guidingstudents’ correct values, regulating students’ daily behaviours, developing andimproving students’ humanistic qualities. What is the most important is that it is putinto practice, making the humanistic education to implement and beneficial to thedevelopment of the secondary vocational education.
