Composition teaching is an important part of Chinese teaching and themost difficult part to grasp. A new round of curriculum reform of basiceducation has gone through for over ten years. However, compositionteaching of junior high school is still beset with difficulties in reality, havinga series of problems. For example, students lack of imagination and put allsorts of things together optionally. Composition are "false","big" and"empty" in context and don’t meet the standard of literary form. Besides, thestructure is in chaos. Facing this situation, our educators may as well seekhelp inside to explore a new writing teaching path that is combined with anancient outstanding theory. Liu Xie’s "Wen xin diao long" is a masterpiece ofChinese great writing theory in ancient times which is supposed to gainmore attention of Chinese people, since it has reflected the ancient writingtheories as well as experiences comprehensively and scientifically.Therefore, aiming at those problems existed in current junior high schoolcomposition teaching, this paper will guide the composition teaching byusing "Wen Xin four theory"("state of mind","book","Rong cut","agreement"). Moreover, through sorting up some relative theories in"Wenxin diao long", it will give several constructive suggestions, hoping to offersome help to our junior high school composition teaching practice.This paper mainly includes the following three parts:The first part mainly discusses the main existed issues in compositionteaching of junior high school, which are mainly manifested in four aspects:lacking of imagination and putting all sorts of things together optionally;compositions’"false","big" and "empty"; not meeting the standard ofliterary form; chaotic composition structure.The second part mainly discusses the reasons for the above four problems of composition teaching of junior high school from the perspectiveof "Wen Xin four theory". Based on the study of it, the writer thinks theoccurrence of these problems is mainly because students are short of readingand writing skills. Also, they lack real sentiments during the writing processand are unconscious of stylistic awareness, having no clear writing ideas.The third part pointed out the beneficial enlightenment of “Wen xinfour theory” on composition teaching of junior high school. Based on theanalysis of composition theory of "Wen xin four theory", we make everyeffort to find out the significance for junior middle school thesis teaching.Namely, strengthen students’ writing accomplishment, guide students towrite with true feelings, teach them appropriate tailoring method and leadthem to setting up the concept of overall structure.The epilogue has a thorough knowledge of theories and summarizes thewhole paper.
