Situational teaching is the main form of physics teaching after the curriculum reform has been proposed, but the actual classroom physics situation is more used in the classroom to introduce phase, full use of the physics situation to start teaching of research is less.For physics situational teaching this subject, this paper reviews the various research results about the physics situational teaching at home and abroad and situated learning theory. Through literature review found that:physics situational teaching theory proposed studies on the basis of the theory of situated learning teaching. And the practice research about physics situational teaching focuses on three areas:First, how to create situations. Second, The comparative research of situational teaching and traditional teaching methods for students’ interest in learning and academic performance. Third, how to evaluate the creation of situation. After a literature review found that the pros and cons of research about a physics classroom only using a physics situation for teaching has not involved.This paper expounded the feasibility of single physics situation in the classroom teaching from the situated learning theory and case teaching theory. Combine learning strategies elaborated the advantages of using a single physics situation for teaching:1) Be helpful to students in-depth understanding of knowledge;2) Be helpful to students to form a knowledge system, easy to remember;3) Be helpful to students concentrate, thinking more coherent;4) Be helpful to students to transfer knowledge, flexible application of knowledge and methods;5) Be helpful to students to discover a new question, inquiry abilities. After that, I collected and adapted the instructional design of using a single physics situation for teaching to test and verify its feasibility. And then, I design a questionnaire and Survey the opinions of experienced teachers, I also analyzed the advantages of this teaching method can be achieved in actual teaching.By studying the following conclusions:(1) There are the advantages of using a single physics situation for teaching in concept class. Be helpful to students in-depth understanding of knowledge; Be helpful to students to form a knowledge system, easy to remember; Be helpful to students to transfer knowledge, flexible application of knowledge and methods.(2) There are the advantages of using a single physics situation for teaching in regular classes. Be helpful to students in-depth understanding of knowledge; Be helpful to students concentrate, thinking more coherent; Be helpful to students to transfer knowledge, flexible application of knowledge and methods; Be helpful to students to discover a new question, inquiry abilities.(3) There are the advantages of using a single physics situation for teaching in the recitation. Be helpful to students in-depth understanding of knowledge; Be helpful to students to form a knowledge system, easy to remember; Be helpful to students concentrate, thinking more coherent; Be helpful to students to transfer knowledge, flexible application of knowledge and methods; Be helpful to students to discover a new question, inquiry abilities.
