| The exam, especially the university entrance exam has become the focus of the whole society. Among the exam subjects, mathematics is the most important one. College entrance mathematics exam not only reflects knowledge, psychological and intellectual level of students. As a result, to figure out the psychological factors which might influence students during the exam, reveal the reasons that might cause students give out the wrong answer, and correct their misbehavior in the exam is critical to make the students improve on.This article analyzed sequence questions showed up in the mathematics exam as a beginning to reveal the common mistakes existing in the mathematics university entrance exam and got the counter-measures. These counter-measures might be a great help to the teachers and students participate in the exam.This paper is composed by six chapters. Chapters â… and â…¡ introduced and reviewed previous studies carried out in China or abroad. By analyzing past exam paper, figure out the main reasons of the mistakes students made in College Entrance Examination and find the way to help students reduce the mistakes made during the exam. Current teaching approach put much more weight on knowledge learning than over-all quality raising. That’s the reason why students attend many exams but still fear of it. As a result, how to really improve the overall quality of students and help them handle the college entrance math exam in an easy way become the main task of teachers. Based on the previous studies, teachers should profoundly analyze the mistakes have ever appeared in the past exams to help students to develop. Therefore, this research is very necessary to the students who would attend college mathematics entrance exam.The third chapter is a survey of wrong answers in the exam. I am currently coaching a county high school in Hebei in our sophomore year liberal arts classes as the object of study, the implementation of the survey. The survey results show that students in the mental state examination, skills will have an impact on the answer. The more important thing is the attitude of students towards error problem. If the solutions to these problems are not good, it is difficult to improve students’ test scores.
