| Examination quality analysis is an important task in the test administration and the results of it are the significant basis for both scientific summaries and correct evaluation of examinations and teaching science. Analyzing the results of the examinations, according to educational measurements, educational statistics and other modern educational technology theories, will be helpful in fully understanding and evaluating examinations, feeding back information such as exam contents, teaching etc. All of them are meaningful in the reform of teaching methods and improvement for teaching quality. On one hand, teachers can grasp the situation of students’knowledge and abilities, providing them references to ameliorate their teaching methods and enhance their teaching qualities; on the other, since it reflects paper proposition quality, teachers can modify or sift questions for the purpose of establishing a test database and implementing standardized tests in the future. In this thesis, the writer clarified the importance of the paper quality analysis and stated the relevant educational measurement theories after reading a lot of literature. Then the writer expounded the measurement of test quality standard from the aspects of reliability, validity, and degree of difficulty and discrimination. The author took the chemistry test papers of Secondary School Admission Test, year2011, Haibowan District, Wuhai City as the example. With analysis and comparison of the exam results of the middle school students of Haibowan District in year2010and2011, all the relevant indicator data of the study were derived, thus explained the changes of exam quality. The complete empirical analysis study gave reference to teachers on an operating level, and provided a basic model of the exam quality analysis. Finally, the study proposed some thoughts and suggestions, whose purpose is to play a certain reference in the chemistry proposition and to promote the artistic proposition of the Secondary School Admission Test. The thesis is outlined as follows:Chapter one outlined the background of the examination quality analysis, and introduced the development trends of statistical analysis of examination results as well as the meaning and content of this thesis.The second chapter began with educational statistics and measurements, and theoretically discussed the methods of the statistics of examination results, including the application of mathematical statistical methods. This part also summarized measurement indicators:the difficulty of discrimination, reliability validity, and discussed concept, characteristics, methods, and relationships of four degrees of analysis, respectively.Chapter three practically provided a complete analysis of the quality of the examination cases for the purpose of statistical analysis. It compared between the grades of Chemistry test of Secondary School Admission Test, Wuhai City, year2010and2011, especially focused on the2011-year chemistry examination papers and the quality of the question selecting.The summery and suggestions on the article work are discussed in the fourth chapter. All of these may play a certain reference in the chemistry proposition, and prompt the propositions of the chemistry test in the scientific process. It may also continuously improve its artistic, and ultimately promote the development for students.The fifth chapter is the conclusion and suggestion. This paper summarizes the research conclusion and the suggestion, points out some problems found in the research process. |
