On The Current Situation Of Job Placement Of Retired Athletes In Shandong Province And Relative Research Of Strategy

In this paper, the writer regards as the research objectsthe placement of top athletes in shooting, cycling, table tennis,basketball, modern pentathlon, athletics and coaches collegesin Shandong Province during the11th National Games (2005-2010)when retired. Top athletes here refers to those who reach topthree in national level tournaments or top eight in the Olympicsor the National Games. The writer will apply different methodssuch as documentation, questionnaire, interviewing, logicalanalysis, etc. to research and analyze the new governmentpolicies and the placement of high level retired athletes inShandong Province after new policies that the nation justlaunched. Then the writer will analyze the current problems ofpolicies for placement of retired athletes in Shandong Provinceand learn outstanding resettlement policies and rich experiencefrom other provinces. The writer will finally propose hispersonal comments and suggestions, considering the situation inShandong Province. The paper will be divided into three parts. First, it willanalyze the current situation and policies of job placement ofhigh level retired athletes and summarize the advantages anddisadvantages in the course of job placement and the undesireableinfluence. The second part will introduce personal advices andsuggestions to improve the current situation. The third part willoffer reasonable proposals such as speeding up the developmentof community sports and providing job opportunities for athletesto help them plan their life after retired.
