The international order as one of the foundation topics of international political theory research, have a very important impact on the world political and economical development. The outbreak of the financial crisis in2008has on the one hand shows that the existing international order has some certain problems, on the other hand also makes the change of China’s attitude towards international order become a hot topic of the international community. In recent years, the western academic circles have had a heated discussion on the rise of China and the change of attitudes towards the current international order. In many of these views, both are scholars who are optimistic about the rise of China, thinking the rise of China will not change the existing international order; There are also other scholars who are skeptical, believing that Chinese diplomacy in recent years has become more aggressive and assertive, argues that the China’s rise is bound to change the current international order to pursue to maximize the interests of China. In the face of such arguments, this article attempts to compare and analysis the reform and opening up policy from Deng Xiaoping, Jiang Zeming and Hu Jintao to Xi Jinping period, to show that the change of China’s attitude towards international order is not as a kind of mutation like the western scholars think. In fact, the change of China’s attitude towards international order begins from the late Jiang Zeming period, with the continuous growth of Chinese national strength and the world increasingly close links, this change has gradually attracted more and more attention of the international community. And it is important and necessary to underline that China is not in favour of the total negative and transformation of the existing international order, but advocates some reforms within the framework of the existing system of international order, making it change towards a more just and rational international political and economic new order. In a word, China will always persist in its efforts to build a lasting peace and common prosperous and harmonious world.
