"Ant" Employment Security Research Questions

At present, China is in a period of social transformation, with the rapid expansion of higher education enrollment and changes in employment patterns, and under the influence of a series of structural factors like labor market segmentation, class differentiation and ossified register system,"ant tribe" incurred. In current, the employment of "ant tribe" presents these problems, like gathering in the secondary labor market, having similar content of occupation, receiving relatively low income, appearing "working poor ", presenting informal employment and the poor stability. Essentially,"ant tribe" means the problem of employment. As a new group, the status of "ant tribe" reflects the employment difficulties of vulnerable college students.This thesis selects "ant tribe" in Huilongguan area of Beijing as in-depth interviewee, depth understanding of employed present situation, analyzing the cause of employment difficulties, summarizing the effects and deficiency of employment security, stressing the need for establishing employment security, on basis of learning from foreign experience, proposing suggestion to build employment security of "decommodification" and "destratification" as This article divides into six parts, the first section is an introduction, defines "ant tribe" and "employment security". The second section is based on in-depth interviews, describes the employment character of "ant tribe", like working in secondary labor market, working poor and informal employment, then analyzes the causes of employment difficulties. The third part focuses on the analysis of the current implementation of employment security, combing the effectiveness and ineffectiveness of unemployment insurance, rights protection, public employment services and employment promotion. In the fourth section, raises the necessity of building the system of employment security, then uses the experience from Korea, Japan, and America as reference. In the fifth part, first, put forward the basic idea of "decommodification" and "destratification" to construct employment security for "ant tribe", then introduces the detailed suggestion, includes pushing reform of household registration system and labor market segmentation, improving unemployment security system, establishing effective rights insurance system, strengthening public services and employment assistance, and promoting the positive employment policy.
