Middle East, rich in oil andnatural gas, is the largest crude oil reserve and oil-producing area. And because ofChina’s growing demand for oil, Middle East is becoming as an important factor inChina’s foreign policy. Therefore, a good understanding of Middle East politics,economy and energy situation helps us in conducting external activities and creatingmutual interest of countries.
