The Research On Hu Jintao’s Thinking Of The Path Of Socialism With Chinese Characteristics

During the Sixteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China to the Eighteenth. Hu Jintao, as the general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, has made courageous theoretical innovations on the basis of practices and developing closely interconnected new ideas and viewpoints about upholding and building the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics. This paper aims to comprehensively examine Hu Jintao’s thinking of the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics.The full text is divided into four chapters:Chapter one, the concepts and research value of Hu Jintao’s thinking of the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics. This chapter aims to differentiate the meanings of "path" and "pattern" and analyze the concept of the socialism with Chinese characteristics, the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics, the Chinese model, and then comes the concept of Hu Jintao’s thinking of the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics. At last, the author will present the research value about Hu Jintao’s thinking of the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics from three angles.Chapter two, the background and establishment of Hu Jintao’s thinking of the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics. This chapter includes three main research tasks:The first one is investigating the background of this important thought from the global, national and our Party’s conditions. The second one is the analysis of theoretical basis by Marxist theory and the system of theories of socialism with Chinese characteristics and other outstanding cultural achievements. The third one is probing the formation of Hu Jintao’s thinking of the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics.Chapter three, the content and traits of Hu Jintao’s thinking of the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics. Hu Jintao has put forward a series of thoughts and ideas about the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics from the Sixteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China to the Eighteenth, so the first part of this chapter will summarize his thinking in all aspects and expounds the relationship of that thoughts and ideas, and the second goes to the basic features of it.Chapter four, the theoretical and practical significance of Hu Jintao’s thinking of the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics, which focuses on two aspects of theory and practice. It indicates that we must firmly march on the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics under the guidance of this thinking and strive to complete the building of a moderately prosperous society in all respects.
