Therefore, in order to protect consumers’ right,and based on the labeling system of GM food’s security control,the labeling system of GM food has become the way to protect the countries or regions food safety regulatory. In2002, China draw up the mandatory GM food labeling system, initially established the genetically modified food labeling system, in the legal aspect to genetically modified food safety and protect consumer rights. However, as the laws and regulations of this part has not been updated, so that,them can not meet the development status of transgenic technology,and also can not solve various problems of commercially available genetically modified foods effectively. Based on this contradiction, the imbalance of labeling system of genetically modified food and the development of genetically modified foods is very impressive. For the management status of genetically modified food labeling stage of China, comprehensive analysis of the current transfer developments of gene technology, and t consider about my national conditions, draw up the labeling system of GM food that can adapt to the development, on the greatest degree to protect consumers’ right and ultimately makes our genetically modified food’s sales market healthy and stable development.
