The Analysis About Differences Of The Issue Of Peasant Workers’ Citizenization And Change About Policy Appeal From The Aspect Of Intergenerational Angle

With the acceleration of urbanization process, it is urgent to solve the problem of urbanization of rural migrant workers. Intergenerational differences within the group of migrant workers has drawn increasing attention in the academic and social departments the differences of human capital and social capital, which are produced in the urban integration process of old and new generations of migrant workers, lead to changes in policy demands. A profound analysis of the urbanization need changes between the different generations of migrant workers and making appropriate adjustments, which have great significance for safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of migrant workers, realizing the process of urbanization of rural migrant workers and promoting China’s social transformation and social structure changes, are more conducive to building a socialist harmonious society.In this thesis, I consolidated, summarized and reviewed the research on the issue of migrant workers intergenerational differences in academic circles by adopting the literature research. Besides I also borrow Parsons’s AGIL model theory, use questionnaires and structured interviews and other research methods. Thus I concluded that the new generation of migrant workers in urban integration process has obvious advantages over the first generation of migrant workers, which means its human capital is obviously higher than the older generation of migrant workers by exploring the generational differences between the two generations of migrant workers from their qualities, characteristics and social relations, networks. Meanwhile aimed at social capital shortage problems which prevalently exist in the two generations of migrant workers, such as lack of policy, political participation and many other difficult issues, I deeply analyzed the causes of these differences in the thesis:first, the situational differences of human capital caused by cultural changes; second, the differences of social capital triggered by social policy system changes. In this thesis, aimed at different groups of migrant workers, I put forward different strategies:in large cities, perfecting relevant policies and regulations to achieve smooth flow of people of migrant workers; in the medium and small cities and towns, respecting individual choices to achieve the nearest urbanization and closure; for those migrant workers who return home, strengthening the construction of new socialist countryside to smoothly achieve the return of migrant workers.
