The Northeast Asia is a very important strategic area where there is theintersection of the interests of major countries in the world. There are the world’slargest developing country China, the traditional economic power Japan, Russia has apowerful military force, the newly industrialized countries of South Korea, and theKorea and Mongolia of economic backwardness. From the view of Geopolitics,America is not connected with the Northeast Asia area and the two places are awayfrom each other ten thousands kilometers, but since World War II, The United Stateshad important interests in Northeast Asia, especially the security interests, sosuccessive U.S. government attached great importance to the region. Since2008,under the impacts of the global financial crisis, the pace of the U.S. economicdevelopment was slowing. The Obama administration adjusted its global securitystrategy in order to maintain USA global hegemony. One of its importantperformances is shifting its global strategic focus to the Asia-Pacific region. Thecenter of the adjustment is concentrated in the Northeast Asian region. It is necessarythat we study it the essence of Northeast Asia security strategy of the Obamaadministration and its great influence on China in order to understand the essence ofNortheast Asia security strategy of the Obama administration. China takes timely andeffective measures to maintain the national interests of China furthest.After Obama took office, he was in the face of the realities of the U.S. recessionand the changing international environment, then he adjusted the U.S. securitystrategy with reflectively thought the security strategy of the Bush era, combined withthe reality of American interests. Because the dual security strategy interests of theUnited States has important security interests in the Korean peninsula and is inresponse to the rise of China, the Obama administration has attached great importanceto Northeast Asia. The Northeast Asia security strategy is one of the components ofthe rebalancing of its Asia-Pacific strategy. The characteristic of the Northeast Asiasecurity strategy of the Obama government is the use of "smart power" combinationof hard power and soft power to achieve security strategy. The way to achieve the goal of the security interests is diversity and flexibility. The added contents of itssecurity strategy are to increase economic development and the protection of U.S.energy security, pay attention to non-traditional security concerns. Besides, theObama administration redefined American security interests in the light of the newsituation in Northeast Asia.Preventing the rising of China is one of the important reasons for the Obamaadministration to adjust the Northeast Asian security strategy. The United Statesbelieves China will challenge the interests and hegemony of USA in its rising processin the word. The Obama administration thinks that China is a potential threat. TheUnited States strengthened bilateral control in the background of the decline ofAmerican power to Japan and South Korea, the U.S. two allies, because they had atendency to centrifuge to the United States for the egoism the U.S. and garrisonproblems and the rising of nationalism and the needs of the Obama government tocurb China, suppress the North Korea. In economic terms, The Obama administrationworries about China’s rising economic influence on the development of the U.S.economy adversely, thus leading TTP actively building in order to maintain U.S.dominance of Northeast Asia and the Asia-Pacific economic affairs.China has very important political, economic and security interests in NortheastAsia. China and the U.S. are both all Northeast Asia region countries who have theimportant influence and will inevitably affect each other. In the political and securityfields, the Security Strategy in Northeast Asia of the Obama administration containshighly targeted content that for China. The one of significance goals of the securitystrategy in Northeast Asia of the Obama Administration is to curb the rising of China.The Obama administration insisted that the U.S. sold the advanced weapons toTaiwan. This was formed in some sense a kind of support for the "Taiwanindependence" forces. This situation increased the difficulties of the peacefulresolution of the Taiwan issue to China; as a result, it made the unification process ofChina is more tortuous. In the development of the economy, the introduction of theObama administration on Northeast Asian security strategy has caused difficulties foreconomic cooperation among China, Japan and South Korea. This would make the situation of further economic development of China more severe, resulting distress tothe Chinese economic security in some degree.China is facing many challenges in Northeast Asia security strategy which theintroduction of the Obama administration on Northeast Asian security strategy hasbrought. On the coping strategies of China, the most important fundamental is toenhance China’s national strength, economic development, and enhance theimplementation of corresponding diplomatic policy. By strengthening economiccooperation in Northeast Asia, especially among China, Japan and South Korea, makeeconomic cooperation of three countries institutionalized. It can balance influence ofChina which the introduction of the security strategy of Obama administration onNortheast Asian has brought. China shall actively take up with construction of newSino-US relations between the two big powers in order to establish a goodenvironment for the healthy development of bilateral relations between China and theUnited States in Northeast Asia, achieving the goal of positive interaction betweenChina and the U.S. in Northeast Asia. China also shall contribute to advocating builda multilateral security mechanism in Northeast Asia to achieve the goal of collectivesecurity in Northeast Asia.To sum up, this paper analyzes that the reasons and the characteristics of thesecurity strategy in Northeast Asia of the Obama administration and the impacts ofChina which were brought by the implementation of the security strategy in NortheastAsia of the Obama administration. This paper also discusses the coping strategies ofChina for the introduction of the Obama administration on Northeast Asian securitystrategy. There are two purposes in investigating the he introduction of the securitystrategy of the Obama administration on Northeast Asia. The first purpose is toproviding more comprehensive understanding of the global strategy of the Obamaadministration, understanding the concerns and interests of the security strategy of theObama administration on Northeast Asia, and to clarify the impact it brings to China,so as to provide some references for the development of Sino-US relations reference.The second purpose is to clarify the peaceful rise of China. The United States believesthat the rising of China is challenging its hegemony, but the fact is China advocates it is trying to building the new relations between the United States and China in the newbackground. The rising of China does not constitute a threat to the other countries ofthe world. China is holding the view of coexisting with all countries in the earthpeacefully. The way of the rising of China is peaceful.
