Abstract/Summary:
This paper discusses the relative with the geopolitical changes and Japanwhich become a great power. How can the geopolitic play a role in the poccess ofJapan which become a graet pwoer? Positive or negative? what mechanisms play arole?I believe the manifestations which mainly the comfrontation between sea powerand land power in the East Asian geopolitical changes. The comfrontation betweensea power and land power, the meaning is a sea power and land power combet.I thinkwhen the comfrontation between the sea poer and land power will produce a ‘Shi,inthe process.‘Shi,is a concept which always be used in China in a wide range. In myopinino ‘Shi,is deifned as: an invisible force in a certain direction and running in thispaper.‘Shi,is used be a mechanism, postwar Japan has played an important politicalpower of the inlfuence of external nature. The basic logic is that: the inlfuence of the East Asian geopolitical changes, andsea level of more intense confrontation,,the Japanese get more ‘shi. When Japan getmore ‘shi’,it will accelerate the process of political power in Japan. Conversely, landpower and sea power against ease or disappear, then Japan will lose ’shi,,whichfrustrated the process of be a great power.
