As the saying goes,"the food to Ann first", China’s catering industry has developed rapidly in recent years, it plays a very important role in many ways, such as consumption, improve people’s livelihood. In the restaurant food safety, related to people’s health and safety. Catering service low barriers to entry, major food safety hidden trouble, analysis of China’s catering industry food safety regulatory problems, explore the restaurant industry under the new situation of food safety regulatory system construction, is of great significance to ensure food security for the people.The restaurant industry and people’s production and life are inseparable, and restricted the social and economic development speed. The speed is more and more highlights the rapid development of the catering industry. At the same time, we should also find the problems existing in the catering industry in our country. Food poisoning caused by food safety in China happened frequently, which, as a result of restaurant food safety problems of food poisoning, and achieve half the proportion of the number of food poisoning and death toll increase every year. In the restaurant food safety more inseparable relationship with the consumer, thus safeguard consumers’ health of body and mind is the most important functions of the restaurant industry regulation of food safety problem.This paper is based on the related theory of food safety regulation, the use of theoretical research and comparative research method is studied in this paper. The full text is divided into four parts.The first part illustrates the related theory of food safety supervision. Catering industry in our country’s food safety supervision work in the supervision legal system, regulatory regime, the examination system, standard system, information disclosure system, public supervision and participation has many problems in such aspects.The third part introduces the developed countries food safety regulatory system. This part from the two aspects of food safety supervision legal system and regulatory agencies, introduced the United States, the European Union, Japan’s food safety regulatory system. They all had a sound legal and regulatory agencies. These countries have a number of law on food safety. And their regulators set very sound, clear division of labor, do their job. Both are unified management and department management system.The fourth part detailed countermeasures of perfecting our country’s catering services food safety supervision mechanism. In order to ensure that our little detours in the restaurant food safety regulation, we can learn from the developed countries in the world of successful experience, so as to safeguard the people’s health and life safety, ensure social harmony and stability and national security. On the basis of the advanced experience of developed countries, starting from the situation of our country, the construction of food safety supervision system suitable to China’s catering industry, perfect supervision mechanism.
