Research On The Role Of Social Organizations In Rural Poverty Reduction

Poverty is a comprehensive concept, and it is in a undeveloped state of economic income、education、spirit and self-development ability, etc. Social organization, as one of most important subject, is indispensable, has a unique advantage different from the government、enterprises and individuals, and plays a more and more important role in the poverty reduction process.With the purpose of poverty alleviation and development, Ningxia Huimin micro-finance Ltd carry out small loans and women’s ability construction project and promote the local rural development effectively. The company is a manifestation of the multiple dimensions of poverty alleviation, including promoting the local farmers’income、stimulating farmers’self-development potential and improving their mental outlook.Based on the case of Ningxia Huimin micro-finance Ltd and the related literature, the paper analyze the foundation、status、advantage、function,、existing problems and improvement ideas of social organizations in the rural poverty alleviation.the author thinks that China’s social organizations have developed rapidly in recent years. there are also more and more organizations participating in rural poverty alleviation, and they play a unique role in investment of money and materials、influence public opinion、innovation of poverty-relief patterns and improvement of the efficiency, but it still faces many restrictive factors. Improving the mechanism of Social organizations participating in rural poverty alleviation needs the joint efforts of the government、the society and the organizations. The government should take some measures to improve the external environment, such as policy and funding support, and strengthen the supervision of social organization. Social organizations should fulfill their aims actively、regulate the internal management and improve the social credibility constantly. At the same time, it is necessary to improve the ability and efficiency of helping the poor by attaching the participation of the people、strengthen cooperation with the government and the community, etc.
