The formation of Deng Xiaoping’s thought on talents in the new period has a solid theoretical foundation and Profound Practical condition. It mainly presents four features:the nature of strategy, science, the masses and period. The theoretical significance of Deng Xiaoping’s thought on talents is that it is the important part of Deng Xiaoping Theory, it inherits and develops Marxism talents theory and it is an important guideline for talent construction of our country in the new period. The present significance is that it has guided our efforts to open up new situation of talent work and has strategic and guiding meaning for pushing ahead the implementation of the strategy of reinvigorating China through talented personnel.
