Anthropology has always regarded the study of the material objects as the most important field, because the material objects are the most described certificate of historical development and change of human society. The material objects are an integral part of people’s daily life necessities and essential matter. They are not only the reflection of a different era of political, economic, folk, religious connotation, but also reflection of the ideology, ways of thinking, values and way of life of the people from different periods,.In this paper, the author is going to focus on Mongolian material objects in the context of national ideology, and their cultural meaning, people’s altitude toward them, on the basis of fieldwork research in Tsagannuru Gatsa of altanoboo Sum in Alasha Right Banner, including oral history told by local people who experienced the era of Cultural Revolution and valuable household items destroyed during the period, and try to analyze the relationship between a social life and things.The paper is composed of the preface, main text (two chapters), conclusion, references and appendix. The preface talks about the research background, the research objective and its significance, the research method and so on. Chapter Ⅰ describes the Tsagannuru Gatsa, the course of Culture Revolution, and the period of Culture Revolution in Chagannuru Gatsa. In Chapter Ⅱ, an analysis has been made of oral historical materials by several herdsmen in Tsagannuru Gatsa to prove household items destroyed and the process of spreading the ideology of the relationship between persons and material objects. Chapter Ⅲ discusses the relationship between Mongolian herders’historical memory of the matter and daily necessities inherent in matter. In conclusion section, the author summarizes the full text content and provides her main points, and discusses the relationship between material objects and local people.
