BRICS Cooperation: Motives And Prospects

In modern society, BRICS, which developed from a concept to a cooperationregime, have distinguished themselves with their rapid development to lead the tide ofthe world. Under the influence of domestic and international factors, BRICSexpressed more interest appeals in economic field and changes to the internationalmonetary order and deepen their cooperation in many fields. Every member state ofthe BRICS is experiencing similar high-speed economic development and appeals formore speaking rights in the world, but they differ greatly in geography, culturaltradition, economic structure, religion and so on. The member states have overcomethe obstacles and seek common points while reserving difference, which lead them tomutual benefits and win-win results. Such cooperation model is new and is worthresearching.BRICS is good for the establishment of a new international economic orderbased on justice, mutual understanding and a genuine concern for the well-being of allpeoples. It has also promote the pace of multi-polarization and increasing efficiencyof global governance. Since it is in the exploratory stage, the five member statesshould deepen cooperation and work together to overcome both domestic andoverseas challenges and change BRICS from a loose forum to a stable regime.
