The theory of context is one of the key issues in pragmatics. Since1923, whenMalinowski formally put forward the theory of context, linguistic research on contextboth at home and abroad has progressed greatly. However, the study of context theoryhas not been completed. Most of the research has been limited to the simpleclassification of typology study of context, as for the essence of context is not set clearly.This thesis begins with time and purpose of the speaker in order to know clearly thedynamics of context. Next, this paper will scientifically construct the concept of contextby returning to the life-world. Since the20thcentury, language has no longer beenregarded as a tool in any sense; it is seen as “the home of being”. In other words,language is a human being, and a human being is language. Everything that is related tohuman beings is engraved in language through symbolism. Finally, in order to achievethe purpose of systemic reconstruction on the context, this thesis will redivide the levelof life-world (external physical world, inner world, and subjective creative world)through absorbing research method of philosophical phenomenology, existentialism,and western Marxism, hoping to offer a new perspective for the research of context.
