Humanity Presented In Painting Creation

"Humanity, which comes from the edge of the world, goes towards eternity. It is hard to tell, to hold and to be touched due to locating underneath everyone’s heart." It can be a great but unexplainable experience to feel the existence of humanity unintentionally. However, in real life, it is hardly for people to feel humanity. The only way to get this feeling is through artists’keen perception to obtain the halo of humanity and reflect it by artistic works. The audience could get the underlying mental self-reflection through those artistic works."Art is the art of human." Because people would examine humanity merely via art. There is the Renaissance Period in the western history, so people there could understand and investigate humanity much better than people from the rest of the world. For instance, the humanity from <David> by Michelangelo proves that western artists had better sense of humanity. This thesis will not blow up art’ function of refection to humanity but emphasize on how oil paintings show the charm of humanity. The author starts from his own feelings combined with his painting experience, and analyzes art from western masters such as Bruegel, Rembrandt, and Vincent van Gogh, and from Chinese artists like Chaoge, He Duoling, Xin Dongwang. The author tries to discuss the value and charm from these art works and deeply understand humanity inside the works. At the same time, it can be a good time to conclude own experience and guide future direction of creation.
