Clarify The Type Of Connector Components Functional Analysis Of Discourse Markers

Discourse marker is a new subject and foreign session in pragmatic research. Bymeans of a bottom-up approach, this article focuses on the function of Chanmingconjunctions as discourse markers. According to Liao Qiuzhong’s view on this kind ofconjunction, we select and induce six parts,“比如”,“像”,“以...为例”,“A+说”,“X+说”,“即”,as the objects to be studied by the relevance theory and the coherencetheory.The first chapter is devoted to the research findings both at home and abroad, thenindicates the deficiency of these studies.The second chapter is a definition of the discourse markers’ features, andreviewing of the history of these conjunctions, shows us why the discourse markers aredivided into such six parts.The third and fourth chapters are the most important parts of this paper. Discussingthe syntactic distribution of these conjunctions, we make the analysis of the functionand the usage frequency of these markers, including the comparison of the internalsimilarities and differences, based on the relevance theory and the coherence theory.The fifth and sixth chapters are the conclusion part. Based on the original research,the similarities and differences will be clarified in the fifth part, and in the last chapterthe limitation of this paper will be pointed out as well, meanwhile the direction of thefurthering study will be known.
