Renaissance Movement has been drawn highly attention by its ideas and grand culture. Renaissance happened from the Middle Ages to the modern society, which is the campaign against the feudal civilization. It is a movement with lots of achievements in culture, science and technology, humanities and social field. Humanism is the symbol of the ideological system and spiritual of the intellectuals during the14th century to the1630s. The Britain’s Renaissance is an important part of the Renaissance, its achievements in literature has gained the world’s fame, leaving a rich and precious cultural heritage for the human being.After1066, the UK has a close connection with,.Western Europe continent, especially after the Black Death, business has further development and the connection with Western Europe continent as well as the world gets closer. After the Black Death, Britain society has vast changes, sheep production developed, the former economic structure changed and the enclosure movemcnt arose. These all gct well preparation for the upcoming Renaissance. Afterwards, social class structure also changed, the free farmers appeared, rich citizens gradually entered the city council, aristocracy, began to differentiate during this period. The outbreak of The Hundred Year’s War prompted the national consciousness.Secular culture appeared in the early Renaissance. This movement initially arose in Italy, the Italian Renaissance has its own unique characteristics, which affected the Renaissance of the UK, such as the famous scholar Geoffrey Chaucer, he touched the works of Dante, Peter, these works had a great influence on his later creation. Chaucer has a huge contribution to the development of Britain national language.British Renaissance ultimately made brilliant achievements, large numbers of outstanding scholars came from British universities. And British Renaissance also has its own unique characteristics, poetry and drama have made remarkable achievements. During this period also appeared a famous writer—Shakespeare. He made a series of works, which strongly reflect the social reality and have vital influence on that time as well as the following society.
