Research "of Image" Deng Jianjin Painting Creation

Deng Jianjin is one of important representatives of contemporary artists in South China, who has a certain influence in trend of contemporary art. Since the rise of China "85Art New Wave", Deng Jianjin has taken a new look at his own artistic expression and concept. After that, his artistic creation is unique which forms a highly personalized style of painting. During the period from1999to2012, his creation has always maintained a relatively stable theme image-"sex". Sex, sexual violence, youth and morbidity is depicted bitingly, and the more is characterized by the expression of desire between homosexual and heterosexual, all of which mark that the temptation in the southern cities led to the expansion of people’s desire and the breeding of people’s sexual mental activity. His creation choose a kind of life experience behind humanity and erotic, pay attention to the issue of the survival of the modern society, and is the exploration and human thinking to secret "Sex".This thesis set "sexual image" reflected Deng Jianjin’s as a starting point, and systematically studies Deng Jianjin’s creation during the period of1999to2012. By the in-depth analysis of painting pattern, painting language features and sources of creative thinking of "sexual image", so as to dig out the profound meaning on the psychological level as well as humanity reflection is caused by his paintings. This thesis is divided into three sections:The first chapter focuses on rendering of "sexual image" in Deng Jianjin’s oil paintings, and systematically studies painting series theme, painting type and language features of his1999to2000’s paintings to strengthen the analysis on "sexual image"; The second chapter describes the source of ideas of "sexual image" in Deng Jianjin’s oil paintings and seeks cultural context caused by "sexual image" through the discussion about chinese contemporary cultural context, the concept of Western paintings and Deng Jianjin’s own personal factors. The last chapter mines the profound connotation and reflection on the both psychological and sociology level.
