The merchant went in quest of their ancestors’ bless and protect, hoped thegood Fengshui bringing good luck, been careful about the portent and taboo. All thementality showed what the merchant were seeking: safe, stable, riches and honor.Merchant of Thirteen Hongs engaged in business, their faith was full of business color.Chinese traditional culture affects Hongs’ merchant’s belief custom, and alsoGuangdong local culture affects them deeply. Merchant of Thirteen Hongs havingprivileged as needing assure duty, they had to face the government, and there weremany merchant went bankrupt. Just because of these restless and anxiety, Hangs’merchant pay more attention to the belief custom. They hoped to get bless and protectby believing kinds of divinities, and got psychological comfort. Folk belief has beinginherited, and taking effect in society and culture field.
