Ceramics Create Mechanical And Non-mechanical Time

The process of producing ceramics is the process of time going by. Every singleprocedure involves the passage of time, the accumulation of time and the time variance.To externalize the nothingness is the primary purpose of the whole execution. All theprocedures should follow the strict steps which play an important role in the final work.The raw materials, the ceramic materials, the shaping, the bonding, the repaired biscuit,the enamellings, and the burning are the elements of the ceramic art work. This essayconcerns the role of time during all these elements to reveal the special glamour of thistechnique which has thousands years history, and then shows the subject of time in themodern ceramic art expression. The concept of time can be romantic as well as realistic. Itis just like the mechanical time comes from continuous practice and confirmation exists inthe ceramic work as well as the non mechanical time such as experience, geography,climate and atmosphere. The importance of the mechanical and non mechanical time inthe ceramic art procedures is presented in this thesis. When producing the ceramic work,we find that though the time goes by in the process, it is embodied in the final ceramic artat last. So we can say that it is time that makes the ceramic work.
