About Teaching Chinese As A Necessity Of Cultural Import

In recent years, with the rapid growth of economy, the enhancementof the national strength and the promotion of the huge market andinternational influence, the number of foreign people in China forstudying, working and tourism has increased dramatically. Therefore,Chinese on behalf of the national soft power also gradually become apopular language with a huge public desire. Language is a carrier ofcultural transmission,a embodiment of the culture, spirit, custom, politicsand economic development which only belongs to a nation and a race.Thus, more and more researchers on teaching Chinese as a foreignlanguage and Chinese language teachers who stay on the platform makethe relationship between the culture and Chinese teaching as a newresearch direction, pay attention to the combination of the Chineselanguage cultural background knowledge and the language materialinterpretation. In the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language, Chineseculture and communication plays an important role and has practicalsignificance and important theoretical value in the students’ teaching andstudying.Thesis bases on the theory of the individibility of language andculture, analyzes the reasons for cultural differences and the importancein cultural teaching in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language. On the other hand, by illustrating the handicap in forming the interculturalcommunication ability in Chinese learning, the thesis provides somesuggestion and strategies on how to cultivate the interculturalcommunication ability. Next, combining with the practice of teachingChinese as a foreign language, thesis selects vocabulary as the reaserchobject which is the most direct and sensitive Chinese morpheme to reflectthe changes of a language; by discussing how the cultural factors affectthe vocabulary teaching, what is the relationship between them and howshould we put the cultural factors in vocabulary teaching to understand thenecessity of culture teaching in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
