TANG Official Script Method

All scripts of caligraphy boomed in the Tang Dynasty and the works of clerical script reached high amounts,.As a result,the Tang Dynasty is called "a boom in clerical script" in the caligraphy history. Clerical script has developed changed through history.Firsttly,I will simply account on the background of the booming on the basis of politics,representative works,biliefs and educational institutions. Seconddly,in oder to have a more all-around view of clerical script,I will appreciate the representative caligraphers and works of clerical script in the Tang Dynasty in various aspects. All this will pave for the following main topic:comparative analysis of the Tang clerical script and the Han clerical script,as well as the Qing clerical script.At last,the passage gives a summary of the great influnce of the Tang clerical script on the development of clerical script in the following dynasties.I hope to restore its due artistic value of the Tang clerical script through this paper,adding to the original simple diacription.Plus,I hope to make an objective judgment and have a better understangding of its shorcomings of the Tang clerical script,as a result,making a deeper and more accurate positioning.
