| Since the first Confucius Institute in Korea was established in the world on Nov.21,2004,the Confucius institute has a rapidly development. Until2012October, there had been369Confucius institutes and Confucius classrooms established in more than three hundred countries and regions around the world. So Confucius institute has been playing an important role in the aspect of promoting Chinese language and culture. Confucius institute has been a window, a bridge to the world, even Confucius institute itself has become a business card for China to the world.The Chairman Xi Jinping delivered a speech in Moscow University of International Relations in Mar.23,2013, which shortened distance between the Russian students, and gained the affections of majority of the Russian people. One of the most reasons is that Mr. Xi used a lot of well-known sayings and proverbs which are familiar to Russian people. It is obvious that that it is a clever and appropriate breakthrough in the dissemination of Chinese culture to broadcast folk culture in Confucius institute. Festival folk culture is an important part of culture. At the same time, the festival folk culture have the characteristics, such as, mass, nationality, entertainment etc.. In addition, we have to admit the suspect and misunderstand to China because of the voice "China Threat Theory" and "cultural invasion". It can be said to be a wise act to spread festival folk culture. The advantage of broadcasting festival folk culture as follows, it is conducive for enhancing the national consciousness and the Chinese cultural heritage; it is the indispensable content in spreading Chinese language and culture in the world; it is the effective way to understand China for the world. In this paper, the author collects the data about activities organized by Confucius Institute in2010, which based on the "The database of international Chinese Language Teaching" originated by College of International Education in Minzu University of China. The author performs statistical analysis of data about the Confucius institute in the aspects of content, scale, and the way of organizing activities. What is more, Confucius institute propagation methods are discussed combining with the individual cases. Finally, the problems in the process of spreading are summarized, and advice and suggestions are put forward for the reference.The paper is divided into four chapters. The first chapter is the introduction part, which mainly present the main definitions and concept s in the paper, and then put forward to the idea of this research. The second chapter discusses the importance of broadcasting festival folk culture in Confucius institution from the aspects of the necessity and possibility, and then expounds research results both in the teaching Chinese as a foreign language and in the dissemination of festival folk culture of Confucius institute. In the third chapter, the author performs statistical analysis of data about the Confucius institute in the aspects of content, scale, and the way of organizing activities based on the "The database of international Chinese Language Teaching ". Besides, Confucius institute propagation methods are discussed combined with the individual cases. Finally, according to the analysis of the existing problems in the process of spreading, we put forward to advice and suggestions so as to provide reference for Confucius Institute and the international Chinese teaching. |
