As the most influential poet after the age of the misty poetry, Hai Zi’s poetrywritten had greatly influenced many other poets behind him. However, Hai Zi’s life isso short and his death is so fast, in his shortly life, especially in his later poetrycreation, he was chasing to the road of becoming “The Sun Prince”(“The PoetryPrince”), and his subjectivity was built by this effort.This thesis used a large amount of test analysis, and then supported by theevidence of speculative. This thesis tries to conduct a comprehensive analysis on HaiZi and his poetry. The part of introduction summarized varies variety of comments onhim and his poetry after his death, then briefly discussed the theory which this thesisused.Chapter1: Refer to Lacan’s “Mirror Stage” theory, this thesis analysed theinfluence of the “Other” in Hai Zi’s life, and then promulgated the affection of themirror image what made to Hai Zi, eventually, in this chapter, the conclusion is thesubjectivity of Hai Zi was shaped by “the other’s” voice and approval.Chapter2: Discussed the empathy phenomenon and the subject conduction ofHai Zi. As a poet who used a lot of resource in world’s history, Hai Zi had aself-identity with some other poet or philosopher in human culture (especially inwestern culture), this experience was opened-out as some poetry that given to thosepoets and philosophers. In those poetry, Hai Zi found himself in the mirror image,andthrough imaginary identity and symbolic identity, Hai Zi built his ownsubjectivity.Chapter3: To analysed the big turning point of Hai Zi’s written, from describedthe motherhood land to chase the fatherhood sun, and picked one of Hai Zi’s epics asa analysis object, which meant the image of the Sun in his poetry stands for ansymbolic order, and identified with the name of father, Hai Zi was trying to replacedthe Sun to be the one who owns Phullas. But, with the affection of Oedipus Complex,he had to accept the infringe by the Sun. Chapter4: Combined the imaginary in Hai Zi’s life and theory of Lacan, theconclusion is, Hai Zi chose a very brutal way to end his life is connected to he cannotaccept his own subjectivity.
