Theodor Leschetizky (1830-1915) who was a student of Czerny who was glorified "The master ofpiano education", was lauded "the most outstanding piano teacher in history". He cultivated a plenty ofremarkable pianists, his teaching methods and ideas influenced the evolvement of piano art all over theworld profoundly. This eassy tries to analyze Leschetizky’s ideas of playing, forms, methods and ideas ofteaching exhaustively. Researcher considers that he was one of the piano teachers recommended the’curve’hand-type and ’the weight playing method’, as the original proposition. He advocated ’crystal’ sound andsummarized the method of studying and practicing piano rationally and the idea of playing sound, so itscoming into being his piano education’s marrow. Generalizing Leschetizky’s piano education is verysignificant to the development of our country’s piano art with realistic meaning.
